Music
At Warden Hill Junior School, our ambitious music curriculum aims to inspire creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong love for music. We are proud to offer a high-quality music education to every child, taught by our specialist music teacher and supported by expert peripatetic teachers from Luton’s Music Service. Our goal is to nurture multi-skilled musicians who can confidently explore and perform a variety of musical styles.
In our inclusive music program, every child has the opportunity to learn and play a wide range of instruments, including the recorder, ukulele, keyboard, and viola. These hands-on experiences help children build essential musical skills while fostering a deep appreciation for the art of music.
Each week, students dive into engaging music lessons that go beyond playing instruments. They explore the rich history of music, learn about famous composers and musicians, and discover diverse musical genres and styles from around the world. Our curriculum also emphasizes how music reflects society, expresses emotion, and brings people from different cultures together.
At Warden Hill Junior School, we believe that music is a powerful tool for growth and connection, and we are committed to making it an integral part of every child's education.
