Safeguarding Our Children at Warden Hill Junior School
At Warden Hill Junior School, the safety and well-being of our children is our top priority. We believe that safeguarding is a shared responsibility, and everyone in our school community plays a vital role.
Our Commitment to Safeguarding
- Duty of Care: We take our legal duty to protect children seriously and work collaboratively with social care professionals in child protection enquiries.
- Open Communication: We are committed to transparent communication. If we refer a concern to another agency, we will inform parents or carers unless doing so could put the child at risk.
- Clear Policies: We have a robust Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy in place. You can download it below or request a copy from the school office.

Keeping Children Safe Together
We believe that Safeguarding is Everybody's Responsibility. Staff members are trained to identify and report any concerns, and we create a safe and supportive environment where children feel comfortable speaking up.

Operation Encompass
We are proud to participate in Operation Encompass, a joint initiative between Luton Council, Bedfordshire Police, and our school. This scheme ensures that children are supported following domestic abuse incidents at home.
'By working together, we can create a safe and nurturing environment where all children can thrive.'
